UAOS (also known as Ulverston Amateur Operatic Society) is a friendly amateur group who with over 100 years of experience and history is part of the fabric of the town of Ulverston. Ulverston Amateurs stages musical shows from all eras, most recently, A Tale of Two Cities, Anything Goes, The Producers, Wizard of Oz, 42nd Street, Fiddler on the Roof, and Whistle Down the Wind.

We rehearse from April to October at Sir John Barrow School, Argyle Street Ulverston, at 7.30pm each Wednesday. The production every year is for one week at the beginning of October.
